2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner is alleged to have fired upon informant by means of country made pistol.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that this case has been planted by the informant to harass this petitioner. Petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

5. On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40506 of 2024(3) dt.06-08-2024 2/2 and there is specific accusation of firing against this petitioner. It is further submitted that doctor has found multiple injuries on the person of informant.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, nature of accusation and injuries sustained by the injured, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
