The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 379, 511 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the petitioner was caught making an attempt to steal the motorcycle of the informant. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. There was a misunderstanding as the motorcycle of the petitioner was also parked close to the motorcycle in question. The petitioner is in custody since 17.1.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the petitioner

No.47423 of 2021(4) dt.09-02-2022 2/2 having remained in custody for more than 1 year and not having any criminal antecedent, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Ramnagar P.S. Case no. 23 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bagaha, West Champaran.
