ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 29-06-2015 The Petitioner seeks revision of the judgment of conviction dated 07.08.2003 passed by the 6th Additional Sessions Judge, Patna in Criminal Appeal No. 116 of 2000, by which he has affirmed the judgment dated 06.05.2000 passed by the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna in Tr. No. 290 of 2000 (G.R. No. 1874 of 1996), by which he has convicted the Petitioner under Section 489A IPC and sentenced him to undergo R.I. for three years. It appears that the application was admitted on 17.01.2004 on question of sentence.
Having gone through the judgment of conviction, I do not find any perversity in the same and, hence, decline to interfere in the matter.
Patna High Court CR. REV. No.717 of 2003 dt.29-06-2015 However, in view of the period of custody and the date of occurrence, the sentence is reduced to the period already undergone by the Petitioner.
With the aforesaid observations, the Revision Application stands dismissed.
