2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"i. For commanding the respondents to accept the rent and issuance of rent receipt with respect of land bearing Thana no.684, Khata no.193, Plot no.2285, Area 3 acres, Mauja-Balipur, DistrictJehanabad considering the rent receipt for financial year 2019-2020 to 2025-26 has been accepted since 2019-20 but the online application has been closed by ID no.20233304003791 dated 29/04/23 has been registered.

Patna High Court CWJC No.9600 of 2025(2) dt.23-06-2025 2/3 ii. For directing the Collector, DistrictJehanabad and the Additional Collector, Jehanabad to correct the nature of land recorded as Gairmajarua Aam knowing well that the land bearing Thana no.684, Khata no.193, Plot no.2285, Area 3 acres, Mauja-Balipur, District-Jehanabad has been settled in favour of father of the petitioner namely Raj Karan Singh on 12/03/1968 considering the father of the petitioner was ex-army man and as per the resolution of the Central Government the land bearing Thana no.684, Khata no.193, Plot no.2285, Area 3 acres, Mauja-Balipur, DistrictJehanabad was recorded in the name of father of the petitioner who was ex-army man and rent receipt was accepted upto the financial year 2019-20. iii. For directing the Collector, DistrictJehanabad and the Additional Collector, Jehanabad to take final decision upon the representation made by the petitioner.

iv. Also for necessary relief/reliefs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the petitioners are entitled in the eye of law."

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CWJC No.9600 of 2025(2) dt.23-06-2025 3/3 despite him approaching the Collector, Jehanabad way back on 08.02.2025 and pursuant thereto, query made by the Office of the Collector from the Circle Officer, Hulasganj immediately thereafter on 20.02.2025, no further development has taken place.

4. Learned State counsel submits that in case, the same has not been taken to its logical conclusion, a decision shall be taken in next eight weeks.

5. It is unfortunate that for the disposal of a petition pending before the Collector, Jehanabad, petitioner/any litigant has to approach Patna High Court by filing writ petition and in the process, coughing up their hard earned money.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of directing the Collector, Jehanabad to take the matter relating to the petition preferred by the petitioner to its logical conclusion after hearing all the necessary parties in accordance with law preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date the petitioner approaches the said office along with the order of the Court.
