JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 16-08-2021 Heard Mr. Ranjeet Kumar Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr. Anil Kumar Singh, learned G.P.-26 and Mr. Pallav, learned A.C. to Mr. Kumar Priyaranjan, learned counsel for the Punjab National Bank through video conferencing. The petitioner has filed this writ application for a direction to the respondent -Punjab National Bank to pay arrears of pension for the period 31.05.2008 to 26.11.2009. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner retired on 31.05.2008 and other admissible dues of the petitioner has been paid except the arrears of pension for the aforesaid period.

Learned counsel for the Bank submits that in view of the nature of dispute raised by the petitioner, the petitioner may

Patna High Court CWJC No.83 of 2021(3) dt.16-08-2021 2/2 be directed to file a detailed representation before the Chief Manager (H.R.), Circle Office, Punjab National Bank, West Champaran which will be decided by him within a reasonable period of time in accordance with law and admissible dues of the petitioner shall be paid.

In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the Bank, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file a representation raising his grievance within a period of two weeks before the Chief Manager (H.R.), Circle Office, Punjab National Bank, West Champaran with further direction to the Chief Manager to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks from the date of representation. It is made clear that if any amount is found payable, the same shall be paid to the petitioner within a period of one month from the date of disposal of the representation. With aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
