Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Baheri P.S. Case No. 287 of 2014 registered for the offence punishable under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. The alleged occurrence took place on 09.12.2014, whereas the petitioner's PDS licence was cancelled on 07.08.2013 and was restored on 09.10.2017 and as such on the alleged date of occurrence petitioner was not a PDS dealer. Nothing has been recovered from this petitioner.
