Learned Advocate for the State, Mr. Indeshwari Prasad Mandal, at the outset, submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is only with respect to the disposal of his representation dated 28.01.2021 pending before the District Magistrate, Samastipur in relation to appointment in the Electricity Board vide Advertisement No. 1 of 2015.

3. A counter affidavit has been filed and it has been informed to this Court that the Advertisement No. 1 of 2015 was not rolled out by the North Bihar Power Distribution Company

Patna High Court CWJC No.137 of 2021(10) dt.23-07-2026 2/2 for the employment of Electrician, Lineman and other posts. Subsequently, in the light of Memo No. 5983 dated 23.06.2020 issued by the General Administration Department, the process of preparing the panel for the appointment in Class IV has been postponed and in this regard an information has been sent to the writ petitioner vide Memo No. 107(Establishment) dated 28.03.2022.

There is none to represent the petitioner and earlier when the matter was taken up on 13.03.2026 and further on 22.06.2026, there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, although it was recorded in the order dated 22.06.2026 that the learned Advocate Gajendra Prasad Yadav, who had been appearing in this case, had passed away.

5. Be that as it may, since there is none to represent the petitioner for the last three consecutive dates, the present writ petition stands dismissed for want of prosecution. (Harish Kumar, J) Anjani/- U
