JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 20-01-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act .

While denying the allegations, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant false case has been lodged to pressurize the petitioner for getting maintenance and informant herself has deserted the petitioner on 19.4.2019 and refused to return to her matrimonial house at Chapra. Matrimonial case for restitution of conjugal right has also been filed by the petitioner in the court below. Petitioner is also ready to settle the family dispute outside the court. Petitioner is in custody since 15.4.2021.

Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in Saran Town Police Station Case No. 301 of 2019.
