The petitioner seeks bail in Ara Nawada P.S. case no. 185 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Sections 467,468,420/120B of the IPC.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide order dated 30.10.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 56786 of 2018 with liberty to renew prayer for bail after six months if no substantial progress is made in the case. Petitioner is in custody since 7.7.2018.

Report called for from the court below has been received from which it appears that charge has already been framed on 3.7.2019. The trial court has mentioned in the report that trial of the case shall be concluded within six months.

No.42080 of 2019(4) dt.07-08-2019 2/3 There is serious allegation levelled against this petitioner in the written report of committing fraud in collusion with the bank officers and other accused persons. The prayer for bail of petitioner was earlier rejected on merit by this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is again rejected.

Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make efforts to conclude the same as early as possible preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of this order and send compliance report.

The Superintendent of Police, Nawada was earlier directed by this Court vide order dated 30.10.2018 to get investigated seriously the role of bank officials in the episode of fraud.

Superintendent of police, Nawada is directed to submit a report to this court as to what steps has been taken in compliance of the aforesaid order during investigation against the bank officials.

District and Sessions Judge, Bhojpur is directed to send copy of this order as well as copy of the earlier order dated 30.10.2018 to the SP, Nawada and send report to this
