CORAM:
HONOURABLE MR.
JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT & ORDER Date: 25-04-2017 The petitioner seeks a direction to Central Board of Secondary Education to make necessary correction in the confirmation page for filling-up of the form of NEET (UG) 2017 Examination, going to be held on 07/05/2017, to the extent it relates to petitioner's date of birth.
2. Heard the parties.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that her actual date of birth is 04/09/1999, but due to mistake her date of birth has been mentioned as 19/11/1999. The admit card for the said examination will be generated on the basis of entry made said confirmation page and the admit card will also be naturally having the same date of birth, i.e., 19/11/1999. It is the case of the petitioner that her date of birth has been recorded in Class-Xth result as 04/09/1999, but because of mistake in Aadhaar Card, her date of birth
Patna High Court CWJC No.5660 of 2017 dt.25-04-2017 3/3 has been entered as 19/11/1999, which has now been rectified and in that place a new Aadhaar Card has been issued to her with the date of birth 04/09/1999.
4. I do not think the petitioner shall have any difficulty in appearing for the said NEET (UG) 2017 Examination, going to be held on 07/05/2017, because of entry of said date of birth in the confirmation page or even in the admit card, generated on that basis, if the petitioner carries with her both the Aadhaar Cards, one having entry of her date of birth as 04/09/1999 and other as 19/11/1999.
5. It is directed to all the concerned that no objection should be raised by any authority or person against the petitioner's participation in the said NEET (UG) 2017 Examination, scheduled to be held on 07/05/2017, if she carries with her two Aadhaar Cards, as indicated above, a copy of her representation, making request for rectification of date of birth and a copy of this order.
6. This application stands disposed of.
