JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 08-08-2018 Nobody appears on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State and Magadh University (hereinafter referred to as the 'University) have assisted the Court.

2. The petitioner has moved the Court for the following reliefs:

"(a) For issuance of a writ/order/direction commanding the Respondent Magadh University to make payment of arrear of salary of petitioner from 11.01.1987 to 30.11.1997 which is due against the Respondents and not paid even though the petitioner retired on 30.07.2014 from the post of Lab Incharge Geography of S.B.A.N. College

(b) For direction to make payment on interest on the delayed payment of arrear of salary.

(c) For grant of any relief or reliefs to which the petitioner may be found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the University after service of copy on learned counsel for the petitioner. From the same, it transpires that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed as cheque for Rs. 1,25,763/- dated 30.05.2018 has already been issued in favour of the principal of the College concerned and sent to him under letter dated 01.06.2018 for making payment to the petitioner.

4. Today, nobody appearing on behalf of the petitioner and also no rejoinder having been filed, the Court can only presume that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

5. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed off. (Ahsanuddin Amanullah, J) Anjani/- AFR/NAFR U
