1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 395 and 397 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The informant alleges that 6-7 unknown criminals entered the Muthoot Finance Company Branch and looted 55.777 kgs gold ornaments on point of pistol.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and is aged about 66 years, it is next submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, it is next submitted that FIR was against unknown and the

No.41057 of 2023(2) dt.04-08-2023 2/3 name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation being mother-in-law of accused Ramshankar Rai, it is further submitted that during the course of investigation it also transpired that the petitioner purchases looted gold ornaments. The learned counsel next submits that the entire allegation hinges around suspicion when petitioner is a woman aged about 66 years and has remained a person with clean antecedent prior to institution of the present FIR, it is next submitted that she is mother-in-law of one of the accused of case Ramshankar Rai, as such, she came to be implicated, when there is no recovery of any article from her house.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner abovenamed, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial
