ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 30-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
A supplementary show-cause has been filed on behalf of the State in which they have indicated that pursuant to the direction of the appellate authority, the petitioner has now been reinstated in service and his payments have also been released in his favour.
It is submitted that the salary amount has been released and other orders are following, some of which have already been made in favour of the petitioner. He thus, submits
Patna High Court MJC No.728 of 2017 (8) dt.30-01-2018 2/2 that there has been substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court and the contempt proceeding may now be closed. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the State, this Court is not inclined to proceed further in the contempt matter. However, as indicated by the petitioner that some payments are to be released, it would be appropriate and in the interest of justice that the opposite party should take adequate steps for making release of the rest amount within a period of three months from today.
The contempt application stands disposed of.
