The petitioner seeks bail in Nawada Town P.S. Case No. 751 of 2015 registered under Section 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code lodged by the Special Officer on Duty. In sum and substance, the allegation is that the petitioner obtained a job in the Police force as Constable inasmuch as somebody else impersonating himself as the petitioner took the examination. Another circumstance reflected from the First Information Report is that when the enquiry was made and he was called upon to appear for verification of the documents, the petitioner absconded.

Contention of the petitioner is that he has lost his job and shall face trial. He deserves the sympathy of the Court.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17018 of 2016 (3) dt.09-05-2016 2/2 Learned APP opposed the prayer and contended that in course of investigation, witnesses have supported the prosecution case.

Considering the nature of the allegation and the other materials reflected from the record, I am not persuaded to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Prayer is accordingly, rejected. In case, the petitioner surrenders in the Court below and prays for bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit in accordance with law.
