This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 64 of 2014, disclosing offence under Sections 498A, 323, 341/34 of the I.P.C. and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, the husband of the informant in view of the fact that in course of investigation, it has transpired that injuries were found on the person of the informant, caused by hard and blunt substance.

Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14496 of 2015 (4) dt.13-08-2015 hereby, rejected.

The petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below within six weeks and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
