2. In the present case, the petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 151 of 2024 registered for the alleged offences under Sections 419, 420, 384, 385, 468, 120B, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner tried to extort Rs.30,000/- from the informant by threatening him with closure of his PDS shop.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is the Block President of Mohanpur Block of International Human Right and Crime Control Forum and
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37283 of 2025(2) dt.18-06-2025 2/3 Anti Corruption Cell, Gaya. The petitioner used to make complaint against the irregularity being committed by the informant. The petitioner has not cheated the informant and has not taken any valuable security. As the petitioner has complained against the informant, being aggrieved by the act of the petitioner, this false case has been lodged. The allegation of demand of Rs.30,000/- is completely false and concocted. The petitioner is in custody since 31.01.2025 and charge sheet has been submitted. The petitioner is having no criminal antecedent.
5. Learned APP opposes the submission made on behalf of the petitioner.
6. Having regard to the facts and circumstances and submissions made on behalf of the parties and considering the vague nature of allegation, submission of charge and period of custody, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - 2nd, Sherghati, Gaya/concerned Court in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 151 of 2024, subject to the conditions mentioned in Section 480(3) of B.N.S.S. and also the following conditions : (i) One of the bailors will be a close

(ii) The petitioner will remain present on each and every date fixed by the court below.
(iii) In case of absence on three consecutive dates or in violation of the terms of the bail, the bail bond of the petitioner will be liable to be cancelled by the court concerned.
