For the materials available on record it appears that the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction upon the respondent concerned to appoint him on compassionate ground on account of unfortunate death of his father in harness on 23.02.2009, while working on the post of Mali at Sone Canal Division, Bikramganj.

3. A counter affidavit came to be filed on behalf of respondent no. 1, 2, 4 and 5 with an averment that the grievance of the petitioner came to be redressed and now he has already been appointed on a compassionate ground.
