The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 30(a) and 38(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. As per the prosecution case, about 1013.88 litres of IMFL and 672 litres of beer was recovered from a truck and the petitioner who was traveling in a car escorting the said truck was also taken into custody.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. He has no concern with the said truck or the liquor seized. He is in custody since 26.3.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Heard learned APP for the State.

Case no. 313 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge -cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Bhagalpur. (Partha Sarthy, J) Prakash/- U
