The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 299 of 2019 instituted for the offences under Sections 324, 307, 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant, while dancing in the marriage ceremony of her brother, heard the sound of firing. She came to the place where firing was resorted to and found that petitioner and three others had opened fire, leading to

Mr. Verma, learned senior counsel for the petitioner has submitted that no motive has been attributed to any one of the accused persons, much less the petitioner, and the allegation against him is general and omnibus act of firing. Apart from this, it has been submitted that there is only one injury suffered by the deceased.

These grounds do not weigh with this Court for grant of bail notwithstanding the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 24.10.2019.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
