The petitioner, who is in custody since 21.06.2020, seeks bail in connection with Trukaulia (Banjaria) P.S. Case No. 380 of 2020, dated 20.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 420 of 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation against the petitioner is of having issued a cheque of Rs. 5,00,000/-, which bounced. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the cheque which has been used for implicating him was

The informant, in fact, had been running a co-operative in which he had involved the petitioner also and only in order to save his own skin from the ever questioning customers, the present case has been lodged. Regard being had to the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 6th Addl. Sessions Judge, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Trukaulia (Banjaria) P.S. Case No. 380 of 2020.
