The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(d) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, on a raid being conducted, some incriminating articles used in manufacture of Mahua liquor etc. was recovered and the accused persons managed to escape. The Choukidar and the local people disclosed the name of the petitioner to be amongst the accused who escaped.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. The cause of his false implication is his antecedent. He

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations in the F.I.R. together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 8 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sirdalla P.S. Case no.510 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada.
