2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 120B, 467, 468 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is alleged that co-accused Pappu Yadav and Sudha Devi fraudulently sold the land of informant to other coaccused persons, including this petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is bona fide purchaser and he purchased the land from co-accused Pappu Yadav, own brother of the informant, after payment of due consideration money. Informant and co-accused Pappu Yadav are full brothers and partition suit bearing Partition

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.35478 of 2025(2) dt.25-07-2025 2/2 Suit No. 76 of 2018 is going on between them since 2018. He further submits that dispute involved in this case is with regard to sale and purchase of land which is purely civil in nature.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering backdrop of the case and nature of accusation, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani in connection with complaint case bearing C.R. No. 316 of 2020, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
