2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No. 146 of 2022/G.R. No. 506/2022, lodged on 26.03.2022 under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner has earlier been rejected vide order dated 24.12.2022 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 56744 of 2022 with a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial.

4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that on earlier occasion, a report with regard to the present stage of the case has been called for.

5. Upon perusal of the report, it appears that the

No.40221 of 2024(3) dt.14-08-2024 2/2 charge has been framed in this case on 10.07.2024 against the petitioner, and summons have been issued to the prosecution witnesses but up till no prosecution witness has been examined. Now the case is fixed for the prosecution evidence.

6. In the present facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner in connection with Phulparas P.S. Case No. 146 of 2022/G.R. No. 506 of 2022, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-II, Jhanjharpur, Madhubani is hereby rejected for the present.
