The limited relief prayed in this writ petition by the petitioner who happens to be a Ward Councillor of Ward No.16, Nagar Parishad, Chapra, district- Saran is that a Ward Councillor Raj Mangal Mahto alias Algu Mahto is getting contractual work allotted by registering his wife Sumitra Devi as a contractor and which, according to the petitioner, is contrary to the Municipal Law.
Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of grievance, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Executive Officer, Nagar Parishad, Chapra, District- Saran to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose it of in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the affected parties.
