The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 233 of 2020, dated 19.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

It appears that on secret information that some miscreants have assembled at a place for making preparations and committing dacoity, a raid was conducted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34482 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 in which the petitioner also was arrested with a knife. From the other accused persons, other articles were also recovered.

The petitioner is stated to be in custody since 20.06.2020 and in the earlier case lodged against him, he has been granted bail.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikarahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No. 233 of 2020.
