JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 21-12-2020 Heard Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Korha P.S. Case No. 217 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 379, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

An occurrence is said to have taken place because of the informant not returning the money which he had borrowed from the petitioner. In the transaction, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the informant leading to injuries on his person.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.34504 of 2020(2) dt.21-12-2020 2/2 that the injuries suffered by the informant are simple in nature and the petitioner is in custody since 11.05.2020. Apart from this, it has been submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedents.

Regard being had to the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar, in connection with Korha P.S.
