This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Yogapatti P.S. Case No.411 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, under Section 3(i)(w) of SC/ST Act and under Section 4/6 of the POCSO Act.

As per the prosecution case, a minor girl was raped.

Considering the fact that this is a case of rape of a minor girl and the witnesses have supported the prosecution case, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. This application is accordingly rejected. 5.

The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and concluded the same as early as possible.
