The petitioner prays for a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order of the Block Development Officer whereby he has directed the Branch Manager to accept the membership fee of the applicant and to issue the challan.
In view of the statutory provisions of Rule 7(4) of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Rules framed under the provisions of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act, no fault can be found in the directions issued by the Block Development Officer directing for
Patna High Court CWJC No.13176 of 2014 (2) dt.15-10-2015 2/2 acceptance of the membership fee. If the petitioner has any grievance as regarding the eligibility of the members in respect of whom the fee has been directed to be accepted he if so advised, can raise such issue before the statutory authorities within the provisions of the Bihar Cooperative Societies Act and the Rules framed thereunder.
