The petitioner prays for grant of the following reliefs:

"i Fore issuance of an appropriate writ (s)/rule (s)/direction (s) in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondents for payment of dues salary and allowances to the petitioner for the period of

Patna High Court CWJC No.8273 of 2018(8) dt.09-12-2025 2/3 24.02.1981 to 31.05.1999, 01.06.2012 to 29.02.2013, 01.06.2014 to 28.02.2017 and 01.10.2017 till date, as per the Pay Fixation dated 24.05.2012, issued by the Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga (hereinafter referred as the University).

ii For issuance of direction to the concerned respondents, for payment of all admitted dues along with statutory interest to the petitioner.

iii For issuance of appropriate direction to the Government of Bihar for fixation of pay and grade pay of the petitioner as per his entitlements.

And/OR iv For grant of other relief (s) to which the petitioner may be found entitled to, on the facts and circumstances of the case."

3 After advancing some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for seeking the aforesaid relief, the petitioner is prepared to file a detailed representation before the Vice Chancellor, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga (Respondent No 5) and prays that if such a representation is filed, an appropriate direction be issued to the Vice Chancellor to decide the same within a fixed time frame after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4 To the aforesaid submission made by the learned

Patna High Court CWJC No.8273 of 2018(8) dt.09-12-2025 3/3 counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the University and the State do not have any objection. 5 Considering the limited nature of prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present writ application is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before the Vice Chancellor, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga within a period of one month from the date of passing of this order.

6 If such a representation is filed by the petitioner, the same shall be disposed of within a further period of three months from the date of filing the representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

7 Needless to emphasize that the final order, which shall be passed by the Vice Chancellor, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga, should be a speaking order.

8 Pending IA, if any, is also disposed of.
