JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-01-2021 Heard Mr. Amresh Kumar Sinha, learned Advocate for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Siwan Mufassil P.S. Case No. 286 of 2020, dated 21.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

A total of 189.6 litres of liquor has been recovered from two vehicles. Three persons are said to have been

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither is he the owner of the vehicle nor is he in any way concerned with the recovered items.

The petitioner is in custody since 22.06.2020 and has no criminal antecedents.

Considering the facts afore-stated, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 2nd Addl. Sessions Judge-CumSpecial Judge, Siwan in connection with Siwan Mufassil P.S. Case No. 286 of 2020.
