By filing this application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the first information report in Jakkanpur P.S. Case No.137 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 420 of the Indian Penal Code as well as sections 27(b)(ii), 27(d), 28-A, 22(1)(cca) of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. The allegations made in the FIR do constitute a cognizable offence.
In that view of the matter, I find no merit in this application. Accordingly, the application is dismissed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J) Md.S./- U T
