1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State of Bihar.

2. The instant contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 11.12.2020 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 20038 of 2019. The writ application was filed by the petitioner for directing the respondents to establish the District Soldier Board in the District of Rohtas.

3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking

Patna High Court MJC No.1605 of 2021 dt.04-09-2023 2/3 note of the contents of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State in the writ application that the District Soldier Board stands constituted in the District of Rohtas at Sasaram and is fully functional, the writ application was disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the authority ie the Director, State Sainik Board near Lalit Bhawan, Bailey Road, Patna for venting out his additional grievances, if any.

Pursuant to the order dated 11.12.2020 (Annexure-1) passed by this Court, the petitioner filed a representation dated 29.7.2021 (Annexure-2) before the opposite party nos. 2 to 4 along with a copy of the order dated 11.12.2020. The petitioner claims that he also approached the office of the opposite parties time and again but his grievances have not been redressed.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the material on record, it transpires from the contents of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the State of Bihar in the writ application that District Sainik Board, Rohtas at Sasaram stood constituted on 25.2.2020. Further from the contents of the representation dated 29.7.2021 (Annexure-2) of the petitioner, this Court does not find any grievance having been raised by the petitioner therein except a bald statement having been made therein to the effect that the order dated

6. At the cost of repetition it may be stated that from the contents of the order dated 11.12.2020 it is evident that the only grievance of the petitioner was with respect to the constitution of the District Sainik Board in the District of Rohtas which already stands constituted.

7. The Court finds no substance in the instant contempt application and the same is dismissed.
