The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 186 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 323, 420, 467, 468, 471, 472, 120B, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.04.2023.

It is alleged that informant's son was selling the ancestral property. When the informant forbade the accused persons to do this, they abused and assaulted the informant and threatened to kill him.

There is no specific allegation regarding threatening of the informant by the petitioner. Only general and omnibus

In view of the above, let the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sahajitpur P.S. Case No. 186 of 2022.
