Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 4.9.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No.44391 of 2018.

Allegation against the petitioner is of commission of rape to the informant.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that now the victim has also been examined, the petitioner is in custody for more than one year and altogether three witnesses have been examined. .

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on submission that victim has supported the prosecution case and named the petitioner in her evidence in court , which will appear from Annexure-4.

No.36599 of 2019(2) dt.27-06-2019 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, since the trial has commenced, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the same and try to conclude it as soon as possible.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is dismissed.
