The petitioner is in custody in connection with Tikapatti P.S. Case No. 19 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b),A, 26, 35 of Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 20.02.2019. He further submits that in the instant case allegation against the petitioner is that one country made pistol with one live cartridge was recovered from the possession of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for more than three months, the Court is inclined to
