The petitioner is aggrieved by letter No. 280 dated 28.11.2020 issued by the District Education Officer, Buxar as also by the notice issued to the petitioner in Certificate Case No. 01/2021 by the Additional Collector-cum-Auction Officer, Buxar, initiating proceeding to recover a sum of Rs. 44,42,358/- from the petitioner.
Patna High Court CWJC No.14948 of 2021(2) dt.08-03-2022 2/2 The petitioner has remedy of filing objection under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demand Recovery Act, 1914 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act').
In case the petitioner files an objection within four weeks from today, the Competent Authority shall take a decision thereon in light of Section 10 of the Act, in any case not later than six weeks.
Till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed off.
