Patna High Court CWJC No.6723 of 2017 dt.15-05-2017 2/3 From the counter affidavit, which has been filed today by the Registrar, Jai Prakash University, Chapra (hereinafter referred to as the 'University'), it appears that the grievance of the petitioner has substantially been redressed with issuance of notification, dated 13.05.2017, granting affiliation to Acharya Drona Institute for Teachers Training, Bhagwanpur Hatt, Siwan, Bihar from the Academic Session 2015-16 for one basic unit (50 seats), under Clause 7(16) of NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure) Regulation, 2014, subject to fulfillment of the conditions and norms as prescribed and amended by the NCTE from time to time and deposit of a sum of Rs. 5.5 lakh as security money to the University.

2. Heard the parties.

3. Learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, has submitted that the said security money, i.e., the amount of Rs. 5.5 lakh, will be deposited within a day or two.

4. This is to be noted that the petitioner has sought for direction to the University to allow the students of the Institution to appear for the B.Ed. examination, to be held by the University. It may be noted that the said B.Ed. examination, which was going to be held from 06.05.2017, was deferred and the new examination dates have not been

Since, the Institution has been granted affiliation, I do not think there will be any difficulty for the University to conduct B.Ed. examination of the students of the Institution concerned, if the conditions, prescribed in the affiliation notice, are fulfilled and the said amount of Rs. 5.5 lakh is deposited by the petitioner.
