The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 182 of 2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 363 and 366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The minor daughter of the informant is said to have been taken away by the petitioner. In fact the informant was told by the villagers that they had seen the victim girl pillion riding the motorcycle, which was being

The victim has been recovered and her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C also has been recorded in which she has claimed to have gone along with the petitioner to Gauhati of her own volition. Later, she came back.

No physical misdemeanor has been alleged against the petitioner by the victim girl.

The petitioner is in custody since 25.05.2020. Regard being had to the nature of accusation, the background facts and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj, in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 182 of 2020.
