The petitioner is languishing in custody since 02.03.2019 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)a/26/35 of the Arms Act. It is alleged that from the possession of the petitioner one country made pistol was recovered.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent, statement to that effect has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition. Moreover, the petitioner has falsely been framed in the present case.

Learned APP submits that the recovery of country made pistol has been made from the possession of the petitioner.
