No. 14788 of 2016 has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in Rajepur Police Station Case

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14788 of 2016 (5) dt.11-08-2016 2/2 No. 48 of 2013, disclosing offences under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code; whereas Criminal Misc. No. 15048 of 2016 has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in Rajepur Police Station Case No. 47 of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 448, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, 1959.

The names of this petitioner transpired in course of investigation inasmuch as co-accused, Rajesh Kumar, in his statement before the Police, under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, while confessing his involvement, has named this petitioner as his accomplice. Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail. These applications for anticipatory bail, are hereby, rejected.
