2. The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 1153 of 2023, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of D.P. Act.
3. The complainant alleges that the marriage of his daughter was fixed with petitioner no. 1. Thereafter, petitioner no. 2 demanded 5 lakh in cash and a Bullet motorcycle. The complainant ₹ paid 3,55,000 into the petitioners' bank account. Subsequently, the ₹
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41273 of 2025(4) dt.04-12-2025 2/2 petitioners demanded an additional 3 lakh in cash. When the ₹ complainant refused, the petitioners cancelled the marriage.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioners have returned Rs. 45,000/- to the complainant. He has also submitted that the marriage of daughter of the complainant has been solemnized and the marriage of petitioner no. 1 has also been solemnized.
5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the complainant has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioners, in the event of their arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Complaint Case No. 1153 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) kundan/- U T
