JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 22-02-2016 Heard Sri Suraj Samdarshi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Anand Kumar Ojha, learned counsel who has appeared on behalf of the respondent / State Power (Holding) Company Limited.

The petitioner invoking writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has mainly prayed for quashing of energy bill for the period 23.7.2011 to 15.6.2013. The court is of the opinion that directly such matter may not be examined by this court.

Patna High Court CWJC No.13813 of 2013 (11) dt.22-02-2016 2/2 Accordingly the writ petition stands disposed of with an observation that if the petitioner files any representation in respect of bill before the respondent no. 3/ Electrical Superintending Engineer, Patna Electric Supply Circle, South Bihar Power Distribution Co. Ltd. within a period of six weeks from today the respondent no. 3 may examine the same pass appropriate order in accordance with law preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of filing of such representation.

It goes without saying that the court has not recorded any opinion on the merit of the case.
