JUSTICE CHAKRADHARI SHARAN SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 25-08-2017 The petitioner is a Sanskrit School and has approached this Court through the Managing Committee of its Secretary raising a grievance that the students of the School are not being allowed to fill up their forms from the recognized School, viz, Saraswati Bhawan Jaikant Madhyamik Sanskrit School, Chikna, Madhubani, through which the students of the School used to appear in past till last annual examination.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the name of the School falls in the category of 711 proposed Sanskrit Schools, which are recommended for recognition. The practice is that the students of the recommended Schools submit their examination fees and forms for examination conducted by the Bihar Sanskrit Siksha Board through a recognized School. Though the fees have been deposited with the said recognized School, it is the petitioner's grievance that forms are not being accepted.

My attention has been drawn to Annexure-6 of the writ application, which is a representation made by the Secretary of the School addressed to the Board, informing him that name of the School does not appear in the list of 711 Schools out of mistake. Request has, accordingly, been made to include the name of the School in the said list and allow the students of the School to appear for the ensuing examination.

4. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that Monday (28.08.2017) is fixed as the last date for submission of the examination form.

5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I dispose of this writ application with a direction to the Secretary, Bihar Sanskrit Siksha Board to look into the petitioner's grievance that name of the School has mistakenly been dropped from the

6. The Board shall take decision on the representation within one week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. If the Board is of the view that name of the School has been wrongly dropped from 711 Schools, the Board shall ensure that students of the Schools are allowed to fill up the examination forms as is being done in the cases of other recommended Schools.

7. This application stands disposed of.
