2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Sections 420, 406, 409, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that an FIR has been lodged on 23-01-2024 by the Branch Manager of Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank, Akbarnagar, Bhagalpur stating inter alia that this petitioner, who was D.J.Y agent, alongwith Bibhash Kumar Paswan misappropriated public money of Rs. 29,73,275/- in the year 2021-2022. It is further stated that 61 people complained about this in writing, then the bank came to know about this and the instant F.I.R was registered.
