The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is non-approval of the promotion granted to the petitioner by the Director, Secondary Education. Learned counsel with reference to Annexures-4 and 5 submits that the Managing Committee of the School has already decided to grant promotion to the petitioner and the promotion granted by the Managing Committee is required to be approved by the Director, Secondary Education but the Director, Secondary Education is sitting tight over the matter for the last six years.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6959 of 2017(2) dt.04-04-2018 2/2 In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Director, Secondary Education, respondent no.2 to take final decision with regard to recommendation of the Managing Committee of the school in question for grant of approval to the promotion granted to the petitioner on the one way or the other within a maximum period of sixty days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
