Learned Counsel for the respondent Commission submits that the examination in question, pursuant to advertisement Nos. 2 of 2016 and 6 of 2016 for filling up the post of Lecturer in Training Colleges, has already been conducted during pendency of the instant writ proceedings. Submission is not denied or disputed by Counsel for petitioners. He submits that the prayer made in the instant writ petition for permission to apply to appear in the said examination therefore has become infructuous.
