The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to ensure the delivery of possession over the land after completion of consolidation proceeding as far back in the year 1997 in village Baduri, Anchal-Durgawati, District-Kaimur.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has earlier filed petition before the Director, Consolidation (Annexure-3) and the Director, Consolidation, directed the Consolidation Officer that after finalization of Chak and issuance of Notification under Section 26(ka), the possession be handed over to the petitioner but no step has been taken. It is

Patna High Court CWJC No.7310 of 2017 (2) dt.11-05-2018 2/2 further submitted that the petitioner filed petition in Revision Case No. 321 of 1999 and the Director, Consolidation directed the Consolidation officer, Durgawati to deliver the possession in accordance with Chak but till date no action has been taken. Considering the facts aforesaid, I dispose of this writ petition with direction to the Director, Consolidation, Bihar, Patna to take necessary action with regard to handing over the possession of the Chak according to khatiyan issued in favour of the respondents of village Baduri, Anchal- Durgawati, DistrictKaimur, as soon as possible.
