2. State counsel accept notice for respondents.

3. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:

"1. That this application is for issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the order contained in Memo No. 157 dated 13.02.2020 (Annexure-6) issued under the signature of Respondent No. 3 by which petitioner has been dismissed from service under Rule-14(xi) of Bihar Government Service

Patna High Court CWJC No.422 of 2021 dt.13-01-2022 2/2 (Classification, Control And Appeal) Rules, 2005 in most illegal manner and also for issuance of an order/direction, directing/commanding the Respondents to reinstate petitioner in service with all consequential benefits as if the impugned order has not been given effect and be further pleased to grant such other relief or reliefs to which petitioner is found entitled in the eyes of law."

4. Undisputedly, petitioner has already invoked the appeal remedy in filing appeal on 25.02.2020 before the appellate authority.

5. Therefore, the appellate authority is hereby directed to decide the petitioner's appeal within a period of four months from the date of receipt of this order.

6. With the aforesaid observations, the instant petition stands disposed of.
