The application has been filed seeking direction to the respondent-Central Board of Secondary Education to correct and rectify the petitioner's name in his marks-sheet of Class X and migration certificate. It is the case of the petitioner that his actual name is Sharukh Hussain, but, in the marks-sheet of Class X and migration certificate issued in the year 2015 his name has been entered as Sharookh Khan. It is the petitioner's specific case that the admit card bears the correct name of the petitioner, which has been brought on record by way of Annexure 2 to the writ application.

It is also the petitioner's case that though he applied for such correction in his marks-sheet and migration certificate before the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, but

Patna High Court CWJC No.7760 of 2017 (2) dt.18-01-2018 2/2 he has not received any response as yet.

Considering the facts and circumstances I dispose of the writ application with a direction that if the petitioner applies in the regional office of Eastern Region of Central Board of Secondary Education within two weeks from today, the Central Board of Secondary Education considering the minor nature of request made by the petitioner must take a decision within four weeks thereafter.

This application stands disposed of.
