The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Bettiah Town (Kalibag O.P.) P.S. Case No. 67 of 2016 registered under Sections 376, 511 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Regard being had to the direct and specific allegation against the petitioner that he outraged the modesty of a young girl aged about fourteen years, I am not inclined to grant him prearrest bail. Accordingly, the application for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner is rejected.
